JOB DESCRIPTION


Role: Lead – Editorial Content (SEO)


Location: Bengaluru


Employment Type: Full-Time

The Lead – Editorial Content (SEO) will own SEO-led editorial strategy to drive organic growth across search and AI-driven discovery platforms. This role requires strong editorial judgment, SEO expertise, and experience optimizing content for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) on AI platforms.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and execute editorial content strategy aligned with SEO, AEO, GEO, and organic acquisition goals

  • Create and scale high-quality, SEO- and AI-optimized content across study abroad, personal finance, and immigrant life

  • Optimize content for answer engines, AI assistants, and generative search experiences to improve visibility and citations

  • Collaborate with SEO, Product, Design, and Marketing teams to improve discoverability, CTR, and engagement

  • Lead and manage writers, editors, and agencies while maintaining editorial quality and consistency

  • Track and optimize performance to improve CTR, time on page, backlinks, and content authority


QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Mass Media, or a related field / Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications will be an advantage

Skills :

  • 6–8 years of experience in editorial content and SEO

  • Experience leading content teams or managing agencies

  • Strong understanding of SEO, search intent, AEO, and GEO for AI platforms

  • Experience in education, finance, or consumer internet preferred

  • Excellent editorial, communication, and stakeholder management skills
