JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: Finance Controller
Location: Bengaluru OR US
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Controller to lead our finance team and drive financial excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, budgeting, compliance, and strategic decision-making. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring financial integrity and supporting business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Financial Operations & Reporting: Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and cash flow management and prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and best practices.
Cost Management & Efficiency: Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities for cost optimization and Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, auditing standards, and corporate policies and manage internal and external audits, addressing issues and implementing recommendations.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence and build capabilities within the team to support the company’s financial goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting and Chartered Accountant
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience, experience; Startup is preferred.
Technical Skills: Must be highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, SQL
Soft Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail with outstanding multitasking and organizational skills
