JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: CEO’s Office
Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic professional to join the CEO’s Office, providing an outside-in perspective on market trends, funding landscapes, and emerging opportunities. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in a Venture Capital (VC) firm, possessing a strong understanding of funding dynamics, market analysis, and business strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Research & Industry Intelligence
Track emerging market trends, investment flows, and disruptive business models across industries.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and analyze industry landscapes to identify new opportunities and risks.
Provide insights on macro and microeconomic factors impacting the business.
Funding & Investment Insights
Monitor VC and PE deal flows, funding rounds, and startup ecosystems to assess market movements.
Analyze investor sentiments and financial trends to provide strategic recommendations.
Build reports on capital allocation, M&A trends, and investment strategies relevant to the company.
High-Impact Presentation & Reporting
Create board-level presentations, investor decks, and strategic reports for leadership discussions.
Develop concise, data-backed reports that translate complex insights into actionable recommendations.
Support leadership with key decision-making frameworks and strategic planning tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with internal teams (strategy, finance, product) to align market intelligence with business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in AML compliance, KYC, or a related field within the financial services industry.
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) is required.
Strong understanding of AML regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, and other relevant laws.
Experience with AML software and tools (e.g., transaction monitoring systems, case management platforms).
Technical Skills:
Strong analytical and investigative skills to assess financial transactions and identify suspicious activities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance initiatives.
