JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: SDE 1 (Backend)

Location: Bengaluru

Employment Type: Full-Time

As an SDE 1 – Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performance applications. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are excited about tackling backend engineering challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
Optimize performance and scalability of applications.
Ensure high security, reliability, and robustness in backend services.
Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

0 to 2 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Python, Java, Node.js, Go, etc.).
Solid understanding of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
