JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: Credit Bureau Reporting Analyst
Location: Bengaluru OR US
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Bureau Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of consumer credit data to major credit bureaus. This role will involve analyzing credit data, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and enhancing reporting processes to support our organization’s goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management: Collect, verify, and maintain accurate consumer credit information in accordance with company policies and credit bureau requirements.
Reporting: Prepare and submit periodic credit reports to major credit bureaus (e.g., Experian, TransUnion, Equifax) and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulations related to credit reporting (e.g., FCRA) and ensure the organization’s practices adhere to these standards.
Analysis: Analyze credit data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement in reporting practices.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to credit reporting, including consumer disputes through e-oscar
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., IT, risk management, customer service) to improve data accuracy and reporting processes.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, methodologies, and compliance efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with US credit risk management or consumer lending.
Familiarity with US credit reporting software and systems
Certification in credit risk management or related field
Experience:
Proven experience in US credit reporting, data analysis, or related financial services role
Experience in managing e-Oscar disputes
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of credit bureau reporting standards and relevant regulations (e.g., FCRA).
Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel).
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
